For Our Children’s SAKE (Safe Alone Kid’s Empowerment)

Crimes against children seem to be an ever increasing fact of life that all parents must acknowledge.

It is a parent’s responsibility to ensure that their children are empowered with the tools to keep them safe. This program has two basic goals. The first is to prevent and avoid abduction and molestation. The second is to teach children what to do if they find themselves in a dangerous situation.

In order to achieve these two goals, I have broken the empowerment program into three components:
Dangerous Strangers
Say NO and Tell/Trust your FLAGS
Fight Like Crazy, Kid (FLACK)

I can help you learn the dangers and how to guide your children toward making good decisions and being careful in everyday situations. My goal is not to scare you or your children, but there is a great deal of truth in the old cliche Better safe than sorry. I would rather kids know how to protect themselves and never need to use it than to need this knowledge and not have it. I have included a list of books that you and your children can use to supplement this class. One class will not keep your kids safe, but my hope is that you will use this as a starting point and continue to have discussions and
practice these techniques with your children.
